Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Enzo Tratatori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Enzo Tratatori!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Danny Hardy!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tratatori swivels and escapes.
Hardy misses with a jab, cross combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hardy.
No joy there for Hardy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hardy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hardy works his way into side control.
Hardy throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Tratatori works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Hardy working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Tratatori tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Tratatori works his way to full guard. Good work.
Tratatori controls Hardy momentarily but Hardy frees himself.
Hardy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hardy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tratatori has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hardy has managed to get both his arms back between Tratatori's legs - danger averted.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hardy's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Hardy throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Tratatori is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tratatori is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hardy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hardy shoots in looking for a takedown. Tratatori tries to sprawl out of it but Hardy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tratatori manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Enzo Tratatori has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Hardy.
Hardy throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hardy looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hardy shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tratatori manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Tratatori looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tratatori is on top in guard.

Hardy uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Hardy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tratatori as he avoids it easily.

Tratatori bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hardy tries to bench press Tratatori off him but Tratatori keeps the position.

Tratatori has an Americana. Hardy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Tratatori is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Tratatori hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Enzo Tratatori!
