Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sonic Bams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lauri Lamari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamari comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rammstein - Feuer Frei! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Bams has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sonic Bams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lauri Lamari! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bams takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Bams is breathing heavily. Lamari lands with a shot to the body. Lamari is looking to clinch. Lamari is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Lamari tries to clinch but Bams moves out of range. Bams avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lamari shoots in and drives through. Bams sprawls well. Lamari is looking to clinch but Bams is avoiding it.
Lamari tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Lamari fakes the leg kick and cracks Bams in the body. Bams takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Lamari is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lamari just misses with a punch to the body.
Bams scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Lamari is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bams off and has taken his back! Lamari working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Bams showing good submission defense here.
Lamari throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lamari is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Bams defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Bams tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Bams is trying to stand. Lamari misses with a head shot. Lamari swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bams is now in Lamari's guard. A big mistake from Lamari there, giving up the dominant position! Bams controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lamari is on top in guard.
Lamari drops back looking for a leg! Bams is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bams manages to kick Lamari off! Lamari jumps back into Bams's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lamari passes Bams's left leg - he's now in half guard. Lamari looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Lamari not landing any meaningful shots this time. Lamari has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Lamari missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Lamari wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bams keeps working. Bams tries to roll over but Lamari keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lamari lands strikes from half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lamari in particular looking to stall. Bams is controlling Lamari's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bams wants to control but Lamari is keeping busy.
Lamari is working for a kimura but Bams is defending it quite comfortably.

Lamari is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bams doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lamari.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bams avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lamari. Lamari wants to take a breather but Bams is having none of it. Lamari works his way into side control. Lamari is looking to take a break and control but Bams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lamari goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bams rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lamari's guard! Nice work there by Bams! Lamari looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lauri Lamari dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lamari has closed the distance and engaged Bams in a clinch.
Lamari wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Bams gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lamari.

Lauri Lamari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lamari is looking to clinch. Lamari tries to clinch up. Lamari is looking to clinch. Danga de danga de dang - Lamari scores with a four punch combination! Bams is looking to score with low kicks. Lamari tries to clinch there but Bams circles away.
Bams avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lamari tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lamari lands with a kick to the temple. Bams shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Bams is rocked! Good leg kick by Lamari there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Oh Bams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lamari wants to clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lamari lands a big head kick that sends Bams to the canvas! Lamari follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lauri Lamari!
