The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez misses with a double jab.
Jesus Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rodriguez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Sanchez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rodriguez makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Sanchez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rodriguez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sanchez somewhat.
Roberto Rodriguez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesus Sanchez.
Rodriguez lands a left and a right that sends Sanchez crashing to the canvas! Rodriguez dives into mount looking to finish!

Rodriguez postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Sanchez bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Rodriguez and the fight is over!
