Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bas Yardin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otis B Driftwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yardin tries to close the distance and clinch but Driftwood swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Yardin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Driftwood's guard.
Driftwood is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Yardin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Driftwood has his foot on Yardin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yardin works his way back into a safe position though.

Driftwood had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Yardin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Driftwood Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Yardin's back instead.

Yardin tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Yardin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Yardin is desperately trying to improve his position but Driftwood has a good base and remains in mount.

Yardin is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Driftwood locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Yardin is forced to tap!
