Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden comes to the cage accompanied by All Nightmare Long. Tyler Durden has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Durden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Joe!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joe scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Joe wants to work for an arm triangle but Durden is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Durden regains full guard. Nicely done.

Durden is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Joe defends well.
Durden bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Joe's guard.
Durden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Joe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Durden drops back looking for a leg! Joe is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Joe manages to kick Durden off! Durden jumps back into Joe's guard.

Durden trying to control the position from guard on top but Joe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Durden stands and throws Joe's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Joe is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Durden fails with the takedown

and Joe counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Durden is not content to let Joe control the position.

Joe wants to pass the guard but Durden is defending well.
Joe wants to control but Durden is keeping him busy.
Joe looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Durden wants to get back to his feet.
Joe wants to pass the guard but Durden is defending well.

Durden looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Joe darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Joe is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Durden trying to control but Joe postures up.
Durden is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Joe working the head and body with strikes.

Joe looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Durden manages to get to full guard.
Joe advances position into side control!
You can see the frustration on Durden's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Durden tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Joe presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Durden's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Durden gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Joe to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Durden will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Durden really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Joe slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Joe tries for a kimura but Durden is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Durden is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Durden wants to get back to his feet.

Joe wants to control but Durden is keeping him busy.

Joe swings around for an armbar but Durden sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Joe's guard.

Joe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Durden gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Joe wriggles free and stands up.
Joe is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Durden has his takedown stuffed

and Joe counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Durden is trying to get back to full guard.

Joe seems to be working for a kimura but Durden defends the submission attempt.

Joe is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Joe is looking to advance position but Durden won't allow it.
Joe stops Durden from getting back to his feet.
Durden is staying active underneath Joe, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Joe with a poor takedown
and Durden counters with a big head kick but Joe shrugs it off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harry Joe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Joe tries to move into range but Durden moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A nice inside leg kick there by Durden. That's going to slow Joe down.
Joe shoots in looking for a takedown. Durden tries to sprawl out of it but Joe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Durden manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Durden changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Joe tries to avoid it but Durden manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Joe to the ground. Joe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Durden shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Joe wants to improve his position but Durden is controlling well.
Joe is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Joe is trying to maintain the position but Durden is very close to passing his half guard.

Harry Joe has got the better of the ground game so far.
Durden frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Joe is trying to escape the mount.
Joe manages to regain half guard. Good work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Joe gets back to full guard.

Durden is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Durden postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Joe is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Durden, into his guard.
Joe's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Durden wants to sweep but no luck.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Joe slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Joe tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Durden pushes Joe away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Joe gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Joe is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Durden is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Joe looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Joe working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Durden gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

And that's the end of the fight!
Harry Joe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Joe winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
