Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adolf Hitler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, William Rigg!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rigg shoots in and bounces Hitler off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hitler is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rigg is controlling him.
Rigg showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Rigg trying to control the position from guard on top but Hitler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rigg pushes down on Hitler's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Rigg wants to free his trapped foot but Hitler is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rigg is in close to Hitler's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hitler wants to sweep but no luck.

Rigg must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hitler pushes Rigg off and gets back to his feet.
Rigg tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hitler swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rigg shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hitler's guard.

Rigg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hitler swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hitler wants to stand up but Rigg is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rigg is working Hitler over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Rigg uses his free foot to push down on Hitler's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hitler.
Rigg scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hitler is breathing heavily.
Rigg tries to control but Hitler wriggling away.

Rigg is landing with some decent strikes but Hitler is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rigg looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Oh Hitler is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rigg postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hitler looks a forlorn figure.
Rigg postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Hitler badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Rigg around the waist but Rigg pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Rigg is the winner by TKO! Rigg jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). William Rigg!
