Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between mr pickles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Stoke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
pickles feints and as Stoke raises his hands in defense, pickles changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
pickles passes easily into side control. Nice work.
pickles is looking to take a break and control but Stoke is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
pickles tries to advance to mount but Stoke denies him.
Stoke pushes pickles away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, pickles gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Stoke throws pickles to one side and escapes!
pickles scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Stoke tries to kick pickles off but pickles keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Stoke is not content to let pickles control the position.
Stoke wants to get back to his feet.
pickles is trying to control. Stoke wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

pickles is figuring out what he wants to do next.
pickles wants to stand up but Stoke has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Stoke keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and pickles counters with a single leg into guard. Stoke didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
pickles wants to stand and escape but instead Stoke has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

pickles is looking for a triangle but Stoke pushes his legs off easily.

Stoke drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stoke jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Stoke advances to half guard.
Stoke slips a nice elbow through pickles's hands, connecting with pickles's forehead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stoke is looking to take a break and control but pickles is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Stoke thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Stoke decides to stand and escape the position.
Stoke has his takedown stuffed
and pickles counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Stoke keeping moving, preventing pickles from controlling successfully.
Stoke uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Stoke shoots in and bounces pickles off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
pickles knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stoke on the ground.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and pickles counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by pickles.

Stoke wants to stand up but pickles is controlling him.
Stoke is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

picklesis looking to pass into half guard but Stoke pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Stoke is in guard.
Stoke with a flurry of punches that miss.
Stoke looking to sit in guard and control but pickles gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Stoke wants to stand but pickles is controlling the position.
pickles stays in close to Stoke's body and controls the position.

Stoke wriggles free and stands up.
mr pickles is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
pickles shoots and misses
and Stoke counters with a shoot takedown. pickles fights it but they end up in guard.
Stoke in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Stoke wants to control from the top but pickles keeps moving.
Stoke scoring with punches to the head and body.
pickles on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if pickles tries to get out of the position.
Stoke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. pickles swivels though and keeps the full guard.

pickles trying to keep a closed guard but Stoke is proving a slippery customer.
Stoke connects with a couple of short punches.
pickles pulls Stoke in close to his closed guard and prevents Stoke from doing any damage or advancing position.
Stoke drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and pickles dives on top into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! pickles's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Stoke tries to clinch up but pickles circles away and keeps his distance.
pickles gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Stoke decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in pickles's guard.
Stoke slips nicely into half guard.
Stoke looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Stoke misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
pickles shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Stoke holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Stoke tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and pickles avoids it.
pickles trying to stall but Stoke improves his position.
Stoke is struggling to control the position.
Stoke gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, pickles regains guard.
Stoke passes pickles's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
pickles is looking to control Stoke's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can pickles avoid being mounted?

Stoke lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Stoke looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
pickles tries to roll over but Stoke keeps him under control.
pickles taking some punishment here, with Stoke in his half guard.
pickles desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Stoke takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
And that's the end of the fight!
Stan Stoke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think pickles has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
