Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ike Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Dublin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connor Dublin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ike Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Connor Dublin!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Turner throws a right hand that Dublin ducks under and follows up with a left that Dublin also avoids with ease.
Turner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dublin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Turner misses with a wild combination.
Turner displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dublin.
Turner goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
No joy there for Turner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Turner leaves Dublin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Dublin tries to stand but Turner is controlling from the bottom.
Turner is looking to stand up but Dublin isn't so interested in that idea.

Dublin decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Turner throws a series of punches but Dublin avoids them all with ease.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Turner has one foot on Dublin's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Turner tries to pull guard but Dublin holds him up against the cage and eventually Turner drops back down to his feet.
Dublin jumps guard but Turner stands there with Dublin around his waist. Dublin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dublin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Turner wants to get back to striking at distance but Dublin won't allow it.
Turner blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Dublin misses with a hook from the clinch.
Turner tries to pull guard but Dublin holds him up against the cage and eventually Turner drops back down to his feet.
Turner tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dublin turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dublin manages to end up in side control.

and Turner takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Dublin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

You get the feeling that Turner really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dublin is going olschool here, as he tries to force Turner to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Turner shrugs it off.
