Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Austin Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Pritchett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Campbell comes to the cage accompanied by All I Do Is Win. Pritchett has chosen Protect your neck as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Austin Campbell!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Pritchett!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campbell swings for the body but Pritchett moves out of range.
Campbell moves away from the strike by Pritchett.
Campbell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pritchett does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Campbell really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Campbell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pritchett circles away quickly and effectively.
Pritchett throws a front kick aimed at Campbell's knee but Campbell avoids it well.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pritchett lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Campbell has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Campbell and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Pritchett tried to score with a low kick but Campbell checks it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Campbell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
