Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaques LeFleure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocha kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rocky Balboa theme Song. LeFleure has chosen Dirty Haus- Rohhf as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Igor Rocha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jaques LeFleure! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rocha shoots for a double leg takedown but LeFleure sprawls well. He's pushed Rocha's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. LeFleure with a poor takedown and Rocha counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rocha. LeFleure not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
LeFleure is looking for a triangle but Rocha pushes his legs off easily.
Rocha wants to stand and escape but instead LeFleure has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. LeFleure postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. LeFleure trying to control but Rocha is working from the bottom. LeFleure scoring with punches to the head and body. LeFleure slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. LeFleure decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. LeFleure connects with a high kick. The fight stays on the outside here - LeFleure looks like he's thinking about clinching though. LeFleure closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rocha did well to prevent LeFleure getting side control. Rocha tries to get to full guard but LeFleure has control of the leg. Rocha is not content to let LeFleure control the position. Rocha is looking to escape. Rocha is looking to improve his position.
Rocha has one foot on LeFleure's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Rocha is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. LeFleure has taken the fight to the clinch.
LeFleure lands a right hand that snaps the head of Rocha backwards. LeFleure lands a nice knee to the body. Rocha prevents the takedown attempt.
LeFleure utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Rocha is working for takedown but LeFleure is calmly controlling the position for now. LeFleure stalling.
Rocha tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. LeFleure smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Rocha. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rocha stuffs the takedown attempt from LeFleure. LeFleure gets slowly back to his feet. LeFleure decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. LeFleure is working for a submission of some sort.
LeFleure is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Rocha is not content to let LeFleure control the position. LeFleure tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Rocha makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rocha.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rocha trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! LeFleure wants to get up but he can't break Rocha's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. LeFleure trying to control but Rocha is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Rocha doesn't succeed with the takedown and LeFleure counters with a nice double leg into half guard. LeFleure throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. LeFleure wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rocha keeps working. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rocha tries to kick LeFleure off but LeFleure keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jaques LeFleure dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
LeFleure closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - LeFleure lands in his opponent's guard. LeFleure stands up from Rocha's guard - LeFleure perhaps looking for a knockout. LeFleure wants to clinch up but Rocha keeps it at a distance. Rocha scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. LeFleure throws a head kick that misses. Rocha doesn't succeed with the takedown and LeFleure counters with a nice leg kick. Rocha displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from LeFleure. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rocha fails with the takedown and LeFleure counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by LeFleure. LeFleure escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
LeFleure tries a head kick but it misses.
LeFleure bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Rocha is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but LeFleure has just dragged him back down to the mat. LeFleure working the ground and pound. LeFleure cracks Rocha with a big elbow. Rocha tries to escape but LeFleure is in control. LeFleure lands a few punches from side control. LeFleure has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Rocha! Rocha flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. LeFleure wants to control the pace but Rocha is squirming around nicely. Rocha keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
LeFleure tries to control but Rocha wriggling away. Rocha slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Still in half guard, LeFleure seems content to control. Rocha manages to escape and get back to his feet! Rocha shoots in and bounces LeFleure off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rocha throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as LeFleure works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rocha drops back, looking for a kneebar! LeFleure looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. LeFleure looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from LeFleure! Rocha is trying to improve his position. LeFleure working the ground and pound. LeFleure working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Rocha prevents LeFleure from improving position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sloppy strikes there by LeFleure. Rocha takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. LeFleure is looking to take a break and control but Rocha is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rocha is looking to reverse the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rocha shoots and misses so LeFleure counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Rocha. That's going to take a lot out of him. LeFleure prevents Rocha from getting back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jaques LeFleure showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
LeFleure misses the body punch and Rocha counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in LeFleure's guard now. LeFleure wants to sweep but no luck. LeFleure keeping moving, preventing Rocha from controlling successfully. LeFleure looking for a guillotine here but Rocha defends easily.
Rocha stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. LeFleure swivels though and keeps the full guard. LeFleure has his feet on Rocha's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Igor Rocha is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rocha scores with a takedown into LeFleure's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. LeFleure keeping full guard, as Rocha tries to pass. LeFleure has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Rocha off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Rocha doesn't succeed with the takedown and LeFleure counters with a nice double leg into guard. LeFleure's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. LeFleure is pushing down on Rocha's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rocha is fighting to maintain full guard but LeFleure has managed to sneak the leg through. LeFleure is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rocha defends it well. Rocha wants to control but LeFleure is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rocha tries to roll over but LeFleure keeps him under control. Rocha is trying to defend against the ground and pound but LeFleure scores with a couple of nice shots. Rocha is looking for a sweep. LeFleure is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. LeFleure is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Rocha has managed to free his arm - good work. Rocha is looking to improve his position.
LeFleure misses with a head shot. Rocha uses the momentum to regain guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Rocha slaps away a takedown attempt from LeFleure, before circling back to the center of the mat. Rocha misses with a takedown and LeFleure counters with a nice double leg into half guard. LeFleure stops Rocha from getting back to his feet.
LeFleure wants to take a breather but Rocha is having none of it. LeFleure is just content to waste time from the top position. Rocha takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Rocha is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Igor Rocha has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rocha trying to advance position but LeFleure counters by regaining guard. LeFleure keeping moving, preventing Rocha from controlling successfully. LeFleure is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rocha is aware though and is defending well. Rocha wants to control from the top but LeFleure keeps moving. Rocha throws a big right hand that misses. Jaques LeFleure is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. LeFleure has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Rocha missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Jaques LeFleure comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well LeFleure has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
