Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sal Crosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shui Kan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Crosby just misses with a elbow thrown towards Kan's brow. Crosby drags the fight down to the ground.
Kan trying to control the position from guard on top but Crosby is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crosby scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Kan walks forward, straight into a front kick from Crosby. Crosby looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kan has Crosby up against the cage in a clinch.

Crosby tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kan avoids it. Kan controlling the action here for a moment.

That's one minute gone in the round. Crosby is pressed up against the cage. Kan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Crosby down to the mat. Crosby avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Crosby tries to keep at a distance but Kan has taken the fight into the clinch. Kan scores with a knee to the head.
It looks like Sal Crosby has been cut. Crosby manages to break the clinch.
Kan shoots for a double leg takedown but Crosby sprawls well. He's pushed Kan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Crosby moves into range and clinches up with Kan. Kan misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Crosby.

Kan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Kan obliges. Kan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Crosby fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Sal Crosby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shui Kan. Crosby lands a head kick. Kan smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Crosby is breathing heavily. Kan throws a front kick that sends Crosby stumbling back into the cage. Kan clinches up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crosby prevents the takedown attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kan lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Crosby is trying to force a seperation but Kan has the dominant position. Kan is trying to drag Crosby to the mat but Crosby just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Crosby goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kan prevents it.

Kan wants to stand up but Crosby is controlling him. Crosby wants to pass the guard but Kan is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crosby is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Kan wants to sweep here but Crosby controlling him for the moment. Crosby throws and elbow that misses. Kan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Crosby's guard. Nice move by Kan! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kan won't allow Crosby to get back to his feet. Kan wants to get up but he can't break Crosby's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Crosby throws a right and a left that Kan avoids nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kan moves into range and clinches up with Crosby. Kan scores with a knee to the head.

Crosby tries to score a body lock takedown but Kan shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Kan effectively controlling the action here. Kan with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Kan with a knee to the head.

Crosby takes a knee to the side of the body. Kan lands a nice elbow. Kan gets control of Crosby's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kan is trying to keep Crosby in close.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crosby tries to free his leg and advance position but Kan is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Shui Kan will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Sal Crosby's cut. That's time! Crosby's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Crosby tries to clinch but Kan moves away and Kan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kan. Crosby has picked Kan up - he's going for a ride! Crosby dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Kan looking for submissions off his back. Crosby thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kan is looking to control Crosby's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kan avoid being mounted? Crosby is looking for a kimura here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kan is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kan throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Crosby is looking to take a break and control but Kan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kan regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Crosby.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. The crowd cheers as Kan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Crosby doesn't seem phased though. Kan tries to clinch and Crosby counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kan wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kan will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Crosby stopping the sweep attempt from Kan. Kan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Crosby is controlling him. Crosby throws a strike but Kan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kan stands up and waves to Crosby to follow him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kan circles away from the clinch attempt and Kan counters with a series of strikes. Crosby will be more careful next time no doubt. Kan has managed to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Crosby takes a knee right on the jaw!

Sal Crosby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shui Kan. Crosby tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kan smiles and moves away.
Crosby tries to clinch but Kan moves away and Kan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kan. Kan has gone for a leg lock! Crosby slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kan's guard. Crosby trying to control but Kan is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Shui Kan will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Sal Crosby's cut. That's time! Crosby's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Crosby clinches but Kan breaks the clinch and Kan counters with a nice body kick. Kan slaps away a takedown attempt from Crosby, before circling back to the center of the mat. Crosby tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kan counters with a good, hard body kick but Crosby shrugs it off. Kan closes the distance and clinches. Kan manages to break the clinch.
Crosby has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Crosby there as he acknowledges the shot. Crosby keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Crosby takes the fight into the clinch. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Crosby wants a takedown.

Kan tries to close the distance and clinch but Crosby swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crosby closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kan trying to control but Crosby postures up.

Crosby is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kan sees it coming and defends easily. Crosby thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Kan to regain full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kan is looking to clinch but Crosby is avoiding it.
Crosby throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kan counters by clinching up. Kan crunches a lovely knee into Crosby's ribcage. Kan lands an elbow inside. Kan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Crosby closes the distance looking to clinch and Kan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Crosby swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kan counters with a shoot takedown. Crosby fights it but they end up in guard. Kan postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kan with a flurry of punches that miss. Crosby preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Crosby is trying to hold Kan in close to prevent damage but Kan has managed to pass into half guard.
Sal Crosby overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kan gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Shui Kan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Crosby clinches but Kan breaks the clinch and Kan counters with a nice low kick that buckles Crosby's knee momentarily. Sal Crosby has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kan instigates a clinch. Crosby can't break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kan prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sal Crosby. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kan pressing his opponent against the cage. Kan lands a knee to the head.
