Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Hoffa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Scarpelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Scarpelli!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoffa scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Scarpelli will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A jab from Hoffa does it's job there.
Hoffa misses with a series of wild punches.
A right-left combo lands from Hoffa.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Scarpelli misses with a double jab.
Hoffa blocks the body kick.
Scarpelli walks into a stiff left hand from Hoffa.
Some wild striking there from Hoffa.
Hoffa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Scarpelli moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hoffa drops Scarpelli with a beautiful combination! Scarpelli stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hoffa is looking for the KO!
Scarpelli is rocked!
Hoffa steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Scarpelli is out on his feet! Hoffa sets himself and nearly takes Scarpelli's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). George Hoffa!
