The bell rings for round one and we are underway! de Souza moves in looking to clinch but Fish pushes him off. de Souza looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Excellent takedown into side control there by Fish. de Souza manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. de Souza tries to close the distance and clinch but Fish swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. de Souza defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fish. de Souza gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Fish counters with a single leg into guard. de Souza didn't expect that.
