Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris G (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Michael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris G! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jackson Michael! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! G wants to clinch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from G. Michael displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from G. Michael throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. G was covering up waiting for the punch and Michael finishes the takedown easily into guard. Michael looking to sit in guard and control but G gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Michael is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Michael looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's one minute gone in the round. G trying to control the position from guard on top but Michael is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Michael looking for submissions from the bottom but instead G passes into side control.
Michael is looking for a sweep. G throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. G trying to control the position but Michael is working away. G is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Michael is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Michael struggling a bit here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. G throws a head kick but Michael moves out of range.
Michael fails with the takedown. Michael misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Michael swats away the attempt to clinch by G. Michael forces G back against the cage and clinches. Michael jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as G walks away with a smile on his face. Michael gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Chris G has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Michael. G tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Michael counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Michael slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. G looking for a sweep. Not yet G, not yet. Michael wants to pass the guard but G is keeping the position. G keeping moving, preventing Michael from controlling successfully. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Michael works a leg free and moves into half guard. G is trying to get back to full guard. G is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Michael works his way into full mount! Michael misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
G avoids a series of strikes thrown by Michael.
Michael controlling the pace for now. G is looking to improve his position but Michael isn't that keen on the idea. Michael unloads with some shots from mount but G bucks and avoids them well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jackson Michael dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
G gets caught flat footed, as Michael shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Michael passes into half guard. Michael missing with the ground and pound from half guard. G trying to hold on to Michael's head to control him but Michael postures up.
Michael is looking to stall here but G recovers full guard. Michael passes into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Michael is looking for a kimura here.
Michael trying to control from G's half guard. G has other ideas though and has regained full guard. G knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Michael on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Michael throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Michael chips away with some ground and pound. Michael should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. G is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Michael passes G's left leg - he's now in half guard. Michael tries to pass the half guard into mount. G knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. G is in trouble now - Michael has advanced to mount! G can't escape the position.
Michael tries to control but G wriggling away. Michael controlling his opponent. Michael lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. G wants to hold on but Michael pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Michael takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Michael tries to control but G wriggling away. Michael tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Michael is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. G can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Michael trying to control but G is having none of it. Michael working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Michael prevents G from getting the reversal. Michael landing shots from mount. Michael trying to control but G is having none of it. Michael might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control G kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. G really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jackson Michael showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Michael tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but G swivels and escapes. G moves in looking to clinch but Michael pushes him off. Michael takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Michael misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
G tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Michael paws at him with a jab and circles away. G gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Michael counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in G's guard now. Michael trying to control the position from guard on top but G is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Michael stands and steps away. G gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. G gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Michael to score an easy takedown into full guard. Michael trying to control but G is working from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Michael prevents G from getting back to his feet. Michael slips nicely into half guard. Michael is trying to control the action in half guard but G is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Michael looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Michael is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! G is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. G wants to hold on but Michael pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Michael looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. G tries to reverse the position but Michael maintains control. Michael tries to control but G wriggling away. G tries to hold on but Michael postures up. Michael wants to control the pace but G is squirming around nicely. Jackson Michael is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Michael controlling from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
