Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Chesterman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Branden Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chesterman's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, It's A Sin. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Chesterman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Branden Jones! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chesterman tries to clinch up. Chesterman tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jones drives through and clinches with Chesterman against the cage.
Jones pulls guard. Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chesterman is one step ahead there. Jones controls Chesterman momentarily but Chesterman frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones keeping moving, preventing Chesterman from controlling successfully. Chesterman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jones pulls Chesterman in close to prevent any damage. Jones keeping moving, preventing Chesterman from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Chesterman fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jones scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Chesterman tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jones wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Check out the look on Jones's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Chesterman prevents Jones from improving position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones wants to stand but Chesterman has his arm trapped.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chesterman struggling a bit here. Jones tries for a kimura but Chesterman is defending well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jones tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jones has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Chesterman manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chesterman prevents Jones from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Branden Jones dominated that round. That's time! Chesterman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jones shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chesterman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Chesterman has control of Jones's left arm, preventing Jones from doing any damage. Jones content to stall in guard here. Chesterman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chesterman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jones controls the pace. Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chesterman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chesterman trying to keep a closed guard but Jones is proving a slippery customer.
Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chesterman works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chesterman is keeping the position for now. Chesterman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A head kick misses from Jones. Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chesterman was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Chesterman looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jones has picked Chesterman up and slammed him! Chesterman can't keep hold of the triangle and Jones manages to pass to side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is staying tight to Chesterman's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Chesterman taking punishment in the form of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Branden Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Chesterman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Jones feints and as Chesterman raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Chesterman working for a triangle but Jones defends it easily.
Jones is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jonesis looking to pass into half guard but Chesterman pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Chesterman is in guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones has Chesterman pulled in close to control his posture. Chesterman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chesterman has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted. Chesterman stopping the sweep attempt from Jones.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jones is pulling down on Chesterman's head. It's preventing any offense from Chesterman, at least for the moment.

Despite being in the dominant position, Branden Jones just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Chesterman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones pushing down on Chesterman's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! Branden Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
