Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Justice Claude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Chesterman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justice Claude!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brandon Chesterman!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Claude will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A telegraphed right hand from Claude misses the target.
Chesterman tries to clinch there but Claude circles away.
Claude shoots in for a takedown but Chesterman shows good takedown defense.
Chesterman misses the shot to the body.
Claude throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chesterman was covering up waiting for the punch and Claude finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Chesterman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Claude is one step ahead there.
Claude wants to pass the guard but Chesterman is keeping the position.

Chesterman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Claude wants to control from the top but Chesterman keeps moving.
Claude wants to pass the guard but Chesterman is keeping the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Claude sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chesterman's guard.
Claude is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Chesterman defends it well.

Claude is looking to advance position but Chesterman won't allow it.
Chesterman is staying active underneath Claude, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chesterman can do anything to dispel that myth.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Claude with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Chesterman gets back to full guard.
Chesterman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Claude is controlling him.
Claude trying to control the position from guard on top but Chesterman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Chesterman scrambles and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justice Claude dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Chesterman fails to land the takedown.
Chesterman tries to bum rush Claude with a series of wild strikes but Claude uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Claude tries to clinch up but Chesterman circles away and keeps his distance.
Claude throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Brandon Chesterman has been cut.
Chesterman scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
No joy there for Claude, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chesterman looks to throw the jab but Claude is out of range.
Chesterman takes a swing at Claude's ribcage but misses.

Claude wants to clinch but Chesterman slips to the side
and Claude takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Horrible takedown by Claude or perhaps it was just good defense by Chesterman which made him look bad.
Claude keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Claude shoots in for a takedown but Chesterman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Claude moves out of range as Chesterman strikes.
Claude throws a head kick that misses.
Chesterman attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Chesterman works over Claude's head and body with a nice combination.

Claude tries to clinch but Chesterman is having none of it.
Chesterman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Claude's half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Chesterman wants to pass to mount but Claude is defending the position.
Claude has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chesterman is working away from the top position though.
Chesterman looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Chesterman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Claude. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Claude wants to control but Chesterman is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Chesterman throwing shots but Claude is blocking nicely.
Chesterman wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Claude uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Claude escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chesterman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Chesterman gets to his feet. Claude looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
A punch lands to the side of Claude 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Claude wants to clinch up but Chesterman keeps it at a distance.
Chesterman stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justice Claude. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Claude with a poor takedown
and Chesterman finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Claude with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Chesterman to score with a decent uppercut.
Claude blocks a jab.

Chesterman tries a head kick but it misses.
Chesterman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Chesterman is trying hard to land a takedown here. Claude sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Chesterman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Claude slaps away a takedown attempt from Chesterman, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Claude closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Claude breaks from the clinch.
Claude tries to clinch up but Chesterman circles away and keeps his distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brandon Chesterman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Brandon Chesterman's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Claude tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chesterman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Claude somewhat.
Claude tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chesterman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fight stays on the outside here - Claude looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Claude goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Claude misses with a hook.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Chesterman! Claude is backing up but he can't get away as Chesterman lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Claude and ends the fight. Great knockout.
