Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fredd Blom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maverick Heath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blom bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Blom lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Heath down.
Heath tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Heath manages to work his way to half guard, despite Blom's best efforts.
Heath is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Blom pulls his head out easily.

Blom stands up and beckons Heath to join him on the feet.
Blom thows a left - swing and a miss!
Blom shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Heath manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Blom slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Heath has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Blom can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Blom throws a big right hand that misses.
Heath isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Blom stacks Heath on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Blom!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Heath is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Blom has the hooks in. Heath is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Blom throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Heath!

Heath is looking to work some ground and pound but Blom has wrist control.

Blom lands a nice looking kick to the body. Heath takes a step back to recover.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Blom.

Blom ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Blom no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Heath postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Heath drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Blom manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Heath has Blom in his guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Blom thumps Heath with a low kick.

Heath throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Blom feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Blom stands and throws Heath's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Blom knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Heath on the ground.

Blom closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Heath tries to bum rush Blom with a series of wild strikes but Blom uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Well Blom has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
