The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nilsson darts in and clinches Bulpin up against the cage.
Bulpin drags the fight down to the ground.
Bulpin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nilsson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bulpin, pushing him back against the cage.

Bulpin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Nilsson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nilsson gets a takedown into half guard.

Nilsson wants to finish this one by submission but Bulpin is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nilsson.
Bulpin bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Bulpin drops back looking for a leg! Nilsson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nilsson manages to kick Bulpin off! Bulpin jumps back into Nilsson's guard.
Nilsson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bulpin lands a couple of decent looking shots.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bulpin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nilsson sprawls well initially but Bulpin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Nilsson tries to roll over but Bulpin keeps him under control.

Oh but Nilsson is tightening it up a little... Bulpin has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bulpin reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bulpin taps out! nice BJJ there by Nilsson!
