Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lucretia Bloodstone!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sweeney on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Sweeney shoots in for a takedown but Bloodstone shows good takedown defense.
Sweeney closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bloodstone circles away.

Bloodstone closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sweeney keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Sweeney wants to get back to his feet.
Bloodstone missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Bloodstone wants to stand but Sweeney has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Bloodstone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sweeney. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bloodstone jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sweeney is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sweeney and Bloodstone has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Sweeney regains half guard, as Bloodstone was trying to land strikes.

Sweeney is trying to stand back up but Bloodstone is controlling him

Bloodstone thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Sweeney to regain full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Sweeney looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bloodstone postures up.
Sweeney wants to get back to his feet but Bloodstone is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Bloodstone sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Bloodstone postures up in Sweeney's guard and throws a big left but Sweeney blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lucretia Bloodstone dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Sweeney is looking to take a break and control but Bloodstone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sweeney advances nicely into full mount.

Sweeney is going olschool here, as he tries to force Bloodstone to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bloodstone shrugs it off.
Sweeney lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bloodstone hang on?

Sweeney jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bloodstone manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sweeney is looking to take a break and control but Bloodstone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Sweeney advances nicely into full mount.
Sweeney pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The referee warns Bloodstone that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sweeney throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Bloodstone has his hands clasped together but Sweeney breaks the hold and Bloodstone is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Sweeney!
