Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between max winner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Crow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

winner moves into the clinch.

winner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight stays on the outside here - winner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
winner keeps the fight on the outside.
winner slaps away a takedown attempt from Crow, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and Crow counters with a straight right hand.

winner wants to control but Crow passes easily into half guard.
winner tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Crow seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but winner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Crow is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
winner is looking to control Crow's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can winner avoid being mounted?

Crow jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but winner manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Crow is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, winner has escaped the position, nice work there.
winner is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Crow looks gassed!

Crow is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
winner gets back to full guard.

winner wants to sweep but no luck.
winner is trying to control the position but Crow postures up.
Crow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. winner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Crow escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. winner gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Crow tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but winner paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Crow is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but winner pulls his head out easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

and winner counters with a head kick. That will keep Crow thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Crow is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Crow has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but winner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Crow seems a little lost for a moment, as winner dominates the positioning.

Crow is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of winner's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take winner's back!

max winner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Crow is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. winner defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

I would just about give that final round to Steve Crow.
