Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Shelter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Johnston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Rock Johnston enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnston scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Shelter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnston circles away.
Johnston works the jab nicely.
Johnston throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Johnston rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shelter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Johnston scores with a three punch combo!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnston lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shelter circles away quickly and effectively.
Rock Johnston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shelter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnston keeps working.
Shelter seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Shelter wants to take a breather but Johnston is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Shelter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That's time! Shelter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Shelter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnston as he jumps to the side.
Johnston tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shelter paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Shelter fails with a takedown attempt.

Shelter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Shelter tries to control but Johnston wriggling away.
Shelter lands a big elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Shelter lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Johnston is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Shelter is landing with some decent strikes but Johnston is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Shelter is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Johnston can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Shelter has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Johnston's face.
