Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dilbert Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and rocknroll Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie is looking to clinch.
Gracie throws a low kick but Chavez avoids it.
Chavez bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gracie's head.
Gracie fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Chavez checks it well.

Chavez moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Chavez changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gracie tries to clinch but Chavez moves out of range.
Chavez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chavez.

Gracie doesn't manage to clinch there - Chavez circles away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gracie lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Chavez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Chavez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Chavez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gracie manages to avoid it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chavez throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range.
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chavez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.

Gracie moves in looking to clinch but Chavez pushes him off.

Chavez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gracie on the side of the head.

Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Chavez sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Chavez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Chavez tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Gracie wants to control the pace but Chavez is squirming around nicely.
Chavez defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Gracie.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gracie avoids the attempt from Chavez to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dilbert Chavez dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Chavez lands a jab-cross combination.
Gracie tries to work over Chavez's front leg with a kick but Chavez checks it.
Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Chavez counters with a left to the body.
Chavez moves into range and connects with a jab.
Chavez is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gracie's half guard.
Gracie moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Gracie quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Chavez has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gracie celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
