Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BUDDY TRUST (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TRUST misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

TRUST gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
TRUST stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and TRUST wants it to stay on the feet.
TRUST fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Hayes is trying hard to land a takedown here. TRUST sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Hayes is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but TRUST is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
TRUST tries to buck Hayes off but Hayes is having none of it.

Hayes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by TRUST, who protects the arm well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hayes thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
TRUST keeping moving, preventing Hayes from controlling successfully.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

TRUST shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than TRUST was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
TRUST can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hayes is looking to escape.
TRUST might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hayes kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That was a close round but I would say that Kyle Hayes will probably get the nod.

TRUST has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
TRUST is breathing heavily.

TRUST kicks Hayes off and gets to his feet.
BUDDY TRUST seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

TRUST manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hayes manages to get himself to full guard.
TRUST wants to pass the guard but Hayes is keeping the position.

Hayes has momentary wrist control but TRUST slips an elbow through the middle.
TRUST postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
