0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bronze Larkin! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McBiggy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. McBiggy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Larkin takes a kick to the side of the head. No joy there for McBiggy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McBiggy swinging wilding here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McBiggy shoots in and bounces Larkin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. McBiggy trying to control but Larkin is working from the bottom. McBiggy gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. McBiggy shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Larkin is trying to defend but McBiggy finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Larkin wants to get back to full guard. McBiggy seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Larkin tries to get to full guard but McBiggy has control of the leg. McBiggy not landing any meaningful shots this time. Larkin is not content to let McBiggy control the position. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. McBiggy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. McBiggy is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Larkin is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
