Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matt Warhol!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maciel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Maciel is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Warhol escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Maciel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Maciel is trying to control. Warhol wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Maciel is trying to control the action in half guard but Warhol is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Despite being in the dominant position, Victor Maciel just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Maciel moves into range and clinches up with Warhol.
Warhol tries to pull guard but Maciel won't allow it.
Warhol is fighting off a takedown attempt but Maciel is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Warhol to the mat. Warhol regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Maciel has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Warhol to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Maciel is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Warhol pulls down on the head and he's put Maciel to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Matt Warhol!
