Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between San Cristobal Fuente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Chips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). San Cristobal Fuente could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ted Chips's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, San Cristobal Fuente!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ted Chips!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fuente changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chips looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Chips can't do much from the bottom here.

You can see the frustration on Chips's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fuente is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Chips will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Chips looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Fuente has picked Chips up and slammed him! Chips can't keep hold of the triangle and Fuente manages to pass to side control!
Fuente has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Chips is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Fuente scores with a couple of nice shots.

Fuente leaves Chips with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Chips got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fuente has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chips has managed to get both his arms back between Fuente's legs - danger averted.

Fuente has his foot on Chips's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chips works his way back into a safe position though.

Chips postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Chips drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chips jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ted Chips comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Chips has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
