Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nalle Puh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puh slips a jab and a cross from Taylor.
Puh tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Puh tests Taylor's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Puh fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Taylor avoids it really well and circles away.
Taylor shoots in and drives through. Puh sprawls well.
No luck for Taylor with that takedown attempt.
Puh fails in his attempt to clinch.
Puh falls off balance throwing a combination

and Taylor decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Puh's guard.

Puh bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Taylor's guard.
Puh is in close to Taylor's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Puh is looking to work some ground and pound but Taylor has wrist control.
Puh wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving.

Taylor is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Puh defends well.
Taylor is breathing heavily.
Taylor preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Puh wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving.
Puh trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Puh stands and steps away. Taylor gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Puh clinches but Taylor breaks the clinch

and Taylor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Taylor wants to control from the top but Puh keeps moving.
Puh is pulling down on Taylor's head. It's preventing any offense from Taylor, at least for the moment.
Taylor won't allow Puh to sweep him here.
Puh is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Puh is stalling here. Taylor is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Puh seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Taylor has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Puh throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Puh lands a with a good body shot.

Taylor gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Puh clinches but Taylor breaks the clinch

and Taylor counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Puh wants to improve his position but Taylor is controlling well.
Puh is positioning himself well to prevent Taylor advancing to mount.

Taylor wants to take a breather but Puh is having none of it.

Puh tries to lock up and control but Taylor gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Puh is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Taylor is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Taylor prevents Puh from getting the reversal.
Nalle Puh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
