2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mitch Webster! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Webster will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Webster misses with a jab, cross combination.
Webster stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Webster wants it to stay on the feet. Bouleau avoids the body shot from Webster.
Webster fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bouleau manages to avoid it. Webster throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bouleau. Webster throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bouleau has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Webster throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nice cross by Webster. Bouleau on the wrong end of a nice hook. Bouleau showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Webster.
Webster cracks Bouleau with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

The fighters circling - Webster throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bouleau tries to score a power double leg takedown but Webster sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bouleau somewhat. Webster goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Webster throws a jab but it's blocked by Bouleau. Bouleau shoots in for a double leg but Webster sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Olivier Bouleau. That's going to take a lot out of him. Webster lands a jab. Webster throws a right hand that Bouleau ducks under and follows up with a left that Bouleau also avoids with ease. Bouleau is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Webster. Bouleau needs to keep his hands up - Webster had a free shot at his head there.

Bouleau misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Webster rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bouleau moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Webster looks to land a combination. Bouleau sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Olivier Bouleau has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Webster throws a sloppy head kick and Bouleau moves out of range easily. A combination from Webster does no damage. Webster looks gassed! Webster fails to land with a series of punches.

Webster leaves Bouleau with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Webster lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Webster tries to bum rush Bouleau with a series of wild strikes but Bouleau uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Webster takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Bouleau fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Webster throws a nice looking combination but Bouleau bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Nice takedown defense from Webster. No joy for Bouleau on that attempt. Webster lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Webster cracks Bouleau with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Bouleau looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bouleau shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Webster sprawls well. Webster wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bouleau gets slowly back to his feet. Webster fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bouleau checks it well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Webster lands a lovely overhand right. Webster is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!Bouleau had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Bouleau takes a body punch but keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mitch Webster dominated that round. The cut man is working on Olivier Bouleau's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Mitch Webster seems to be getting the better of the standup. Webster stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Bouleau fails with a takedown attempt. Webster paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Webster misses with a head kick.
Webster tests Bouleau's chin there with a solid looking shot. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Bouleau. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Bouleau takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Mitch Webster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bouleau shoots for a double leg takedown but Webster sprawls well. He's pushed Bouleau's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Webster misses with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. A combination from Webster does no damage. Webster lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Webster. Bouleau shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Webster as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Olivier Bouleau. That's going to take a lot out of him. Webster works over Bouleau's head and body with a nice combination.
Bouleau is rocked! Bouleau takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Oh Bouleau is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bouleau takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Webster Rushes Bouleau and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Bouleau is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Webster Piles on the pressure and Bouleau crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
