Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Spinx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Machete Juarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spinx's entrance music is Eye of the Tiger. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Juarez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Juarez lands in his opponent's guard.

Spinx sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Juarez to the ground! Spinx dives into full mount looking to finish!

It looks like Machete Juarez has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Spinx shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Juarez as he jumps to the side.

Juarez had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Spinx is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Juarez Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Spinx's back instead.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jack Spinx.
