Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex O Brien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Cop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Brien changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cop tries to avoid it but O Brien manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cop to the ground. Cop escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
O Brien on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cop. Cop obviously looking to wear him down.
O Brien shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cop's guard.
O Brien preventing the sweep.
Cop wants to get back to his feet but O Brien is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Cop looking for a sweep. Not yet Cop, not yet.
O Brien postures up.
O Brien won't allow Cop to get back to his feet.
O Brien trying to control the position from guard on top but Cop is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
O Brien stands and steps away. Cop gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Cop swings for the body but O Brien moves out of range.
Cop should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
O Brien missing with a left hand there. Cop was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A punch combination from O Brien misses.
Cop lands a jab to O Brien's midsection.
Cop throws a sloppy head kick and O Brien moves out of range easily.
O Brien throws a series of strikes that have Cop backpedaling.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cop is looking to clinch.
Cop jabs at O Brien's body.
Cop misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Cop keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
O Brien scores with a takedown into Cop's guard.
O Brien trying to control but Cop is working from the bottom.
O Brien is breathing heavily.
Cop is looking to stand up but O Brien isn't so interested in that idea.
O Brien won't allow Cop to sweep him here.
Cop is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
O Brien gets to his feet. Cop looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
O Brien avoids the head kick by Cop.
O Brien shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cop but Cop pushes him off and we're back to square one.

O Brien takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Cop stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cop wants it to stay on the feet.

Cop looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
O Brien misses with a takedown attempt - Cop sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cop scores with a head kick.
Cop just misses with a punch to the body.
Cop throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
O Brien tries to clinch but Cop moves out of range.
O Brien shoots for a takedown but Cop saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cop scores with a kick to the midsection.
O Brien gets the takedown into side control.
Cop pushes O Brien away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, O Brien gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cop is trying to get back to half guard.
O Brien content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
O Brien is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cop has escaped the position, nice work there.

Cop wants to get back to his feet but O Brien drags him back down.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Cop is letting O Brien control him for a moment.
Cop is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Cop dodges the ground and pound from O Brien.
Cop is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
O Brien sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Cop is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
