Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vic Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackie Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Day comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hammerfall - At the End of the Rainbow kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jackie Day is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lester fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Day avoids it really well and circles away.
Day misses with a takedown attempt - Lester sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Day tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lester swivels and escapes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lester displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Day.
Vic Lester has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackie Day.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well Day has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
