Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sev Strahovka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dilbert Pickles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sev Strahovka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dilbert Pickles! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strahovka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pickles pinned against the cage. Pickles gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Strahovka shoots in for a takedown but Pickles shows good takedown defense. Pickles has his takedown stuffed and Strahovka counters with a nice double leg into guard. Strahovka is fighting to break Pickles's control of his arms but Pickles is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Pickles manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Strahovka manages to get himself to full guard.
Pickles stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Strahovka swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pickles is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. I looks like Pickles might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pickles stands and throws Strahovka's legs to the side, diving into side control. Pickles moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Let's hope that Pickles has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Pickles's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Despite being in the dominant position, Dilbert Pickles just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Strahovka closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Strahovka lands in his opponent's guard. Pickles looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Pickles looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Strahovka puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Strahovka landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Pickles desperately trying to maintain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pickles is pressing down on Strahovka's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Strahovka is breathing heavily. Pickles is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Strahovka tries to free his leg and advance position but Pickles is retaining full guard. Pickles wants to sweep here but Strahovka controlling him for the moment. Pickles looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Strahovka gets caught flat footed, as Pickles shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Pickles content to stall in guard here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dilbert Pickles will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Pickles misses with a takedown and Strahovka decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pickles's guard. Pickles pulls Strahovka in to control the position. Strahovka stopping the sweep attempt from Pickles. Pickles pulls Strahovka in close to prevent any damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pickles closes this distance looking for a takedown but Strahovka circles away. Strahovka fails with the takedown and Pickles counters with a shoot takedown. Strahovka fights it but they end up in guard. Pickles works a leg free and moves into half guard. Pickles seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Pickles prevents Strahovka from improving his position. Pickles is pressing down on Strahovka's thigh, looking to free his foot. Strahovka is holding on for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pickles keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Strahovka wants to control but Pickles is keeping busy and won't allow it. Pickles controlling the action here.

The fight stays on the outside here - Strahovka looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Strahovka fails with an attempt to clinch.
Strahovka shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Pickles regains full guard. Nicely done.

Pickles pulls Strahovka in close to his closed guard and prevents Strahovka from doing any damage or advancing position. Pickles bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Strahovka's guard. Pickles controls from within his opponent's guard. Strahovka looking for a guillotine here but Pickles defends easily.

Dilbert Pickles showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Strahovka with a lazy takedown attempt and Pickles decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Strahovka's guard. Pickles controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Strahovka is trying to keep Pickles in close.
Pickles slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Pickles wants to pass the guard but Strahovka is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strahovka is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Pickles sitting in guard here, content to control.

Pickles slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Strahovka wants to control but Pickles postures up. Pickles controlling the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Dilbert Pickles comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pickles has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
