Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kris McCray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Wallace has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kris McCray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wallace fails with an attempt to clinch.
No luck for Wallace with that takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - McCray looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A punch combination from Wallace misses.
Wallace stuffs the takedown.
Wallace defends well against a solid takedown attempt from McCray.
Wallace throws a jab but it's blocked by McCray.

and McCray counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
McCray trying to mount his opponent but Wallace defends it.
McCray really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

McCray can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wallace is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wallace is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Wallace looks gassed!
McCray lands with some strikes.
McCray scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Wallace?
Wallace can't escape the position.
McCray controlling his opponent.
Wallace looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Wallace looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wallace is keeping busy.
Wallace is covering up but some of the strikes from McCray are getting through and doing damage.

McCray patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Wallace prevents McCray from getting a body triangle.
McCray has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Wallace's body.

McCray is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Wallace knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Wallace for a finish.
McCray is trying to stick to Wallace's back but Wallace is turning into McCray. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in McCray's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Wallace.

McCray trying to keep a closed guard but Wallace is proving a slippery customer.

Wallace stands up and waves to McCray to follow him.
Wallace swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
McCray scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wallace doesn't seem bothered though.
Wallace takes a kick to the side of the head.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

McCray breaks the clinch.

McCray shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wallace's guard.

McCray stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wallace swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wallace bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McCray's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McCray is looking to stand up but Wallace isn't so interested in that idea.

McCray looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wallace wants to get back to full guard.
McCray seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Wallace pushes McCray off and gets back to his feet.
Wallace shoots in for a double leg but McCray sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

McCray clinches with his opponent.

McCray has picked Wallace up - he's going for a ride! McCray dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Wallace is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

McCray gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Wallace wants to clinch.

McCray misses with a body kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wallace misses with a combination
and McCray counters with a thumping low kick.

McCray rushes Wallace and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Wallace has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McCray is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
McCray has Wallace pushed against the cage.
McCray wants to stall.

Wallace escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice takedown defense from Wallace. No joy for McCray on that attempt.

Wallace shoots in and bounces McCray off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Wallace decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

McCray gets caught flat footed, as Wallace shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Wallace has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of McCray is proving hard to escape from.
Wallace trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kris McCray overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Wallace slips nicely into half guard.
McCray wants to get back to full guard.
Wallace works his way into side control.

Wallace decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Wallace gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows McCray to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Wallace wants to sweep here but McCray controlling him for the moment.
Wallace manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
McCray swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
McCray wants to control but Wallace is having none of it.

Wallace is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But McCray has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from McCray!

McCray is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Wallace had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. McCray is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wallace Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take McCray's back instead.

Wallace goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. McCray escapes and is now in half guard on top.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wallace is looking for a sweep. McCray is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Adam Wallace will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Wallace tries to move into range but McCray moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Wallace throws a nice looking combination but McCray bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kris McCray is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
McCray tries a head kick but it misses.
McCray circles away from the clinch attempt
letting McCray counter with a right hand.
McCray throws a front kick that sends Wallace stumbling back into the cage.
McCray connects with a right hand. Wallace shakes it off.
McCray fails to land the takedown.
McCray tries to clinch but Wallace moves out of range.

McCray scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
McCray seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wallace does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Wallace wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
McCray wants to take a breather but Wallace is having none of it.

Wallace moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Wallace throws his legs up looking for a submission but McCray uses it to pass to side control.
Wallace manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Wallace is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McCray's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McCray's back!

Wallace looking to break McCray's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. McCray remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Wallace will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Wallace's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
McCray just trying to survive but Wallace is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

McCray is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Wallace gets his way!

Wallace is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. McCray defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Wallace tries to keep control of the position but McCray is staying busy.

Wallace gets to his feet. McCray looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

McCray got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wallace has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McCray has managed to get both his arms back between Wallace's legs - danger averted.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wallace bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McCray's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Adam Wallace comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Wallace has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
