Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Westminister Abbey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Flash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Abbey might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 21 GUNS. Jeff Flash has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Westminister Abbey's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Westminister Abbey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeff Flash! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abbey throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Flash. Abbey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Abbey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Flash uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Abbey.
Abbey fails with an attempt to clinch.
Flash moves out of range as Abbey strikes. Abbey throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Flash sees it coming and avoids it easily. Abbey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Abbey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Flash paws at him with a jab and circles away. A telegraphed right hand from Abbey misses the target. Flash shoots in and drives through. Abbey sprawls well. Flash lands a slapping body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Abbey misses with a two punch combination.
Abbey lunges at Flash with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Flash's hand. Abbey fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fighters circling - Abbey throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Flash takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flash shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Flash working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Abbey's head. Abbey keeping moving, preventing Flash from controlling successfully. Abbey is working an open guard so Flash takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Abbey misses with the combination.
Flash shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Abbey manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Abbey keeping moving, preventing Flash from controlling successfully. Flash is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abbey is looking for a triangle but Flash pushes his legs off easily.
Flash trying to control the position from guard on top but Abbey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Flash gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Flash shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Abbey trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Flash manages to pass to mount!
Flash has control of Abbey's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Abbey regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flash fails to move to back control. Flash is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Abbey is looking to clinch but Flash is avoiding it.
Abbey throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Abbey throws a good cross that connects.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Flash. Flash looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Abbey!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Abbey is trying desperately to improve position. Flash takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Flash trying to control but he's not successful this time. Flash working the ground and pound effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Abbey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Abbey connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Flash misses the shot to the body. Abbey throws a predictable looking body shot

That's one minute gone in the round. Abbey gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Flash is in the full mount, landing strikes. Flash goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Abbey turns into him and now he's in Flash's guard.
Flash not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Abbey stands and steps away. Flash gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abbey tries to clinch but fails miserably and Flash counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Abbey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

so Flash counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Flash gets to his feet. Abbey looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Westminister Abbey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Abbey tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Flash decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Abbey's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Flash is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Flash trying to control the position from guard on top but Abbey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flash postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Flash stands up and waves to Abbey to follow him. Flash looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Abbey! Flash goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Abbey turns into him and now he's in Flash's guard.

Flash is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Abbey's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Abbey's back! Abbey showing good submission defense here.
Abbey trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Abbey is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Abbey is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Flash gets his way!

Jeff Flash showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Flash looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Abbey scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Flash doesn't seem bothered though. Abbey falls off balance throwing a combination
and Flash counters with a nice double leg into side control. Abbey won't be happy with that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Abbey gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Abbey wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Flash.

That's one minute gone in the round. Flash is going olschool here, as he tries to force Abbey to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Abbey shrugs it off. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Flash wants to control the pace but Abbey is squirming around nicely. Flash goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Abbey turns into him and now he's in Flash's guard.
Flash wants to sweep here but Abbey controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Flash working a defensive guard but Abbey manages to pass into side control anyway.
Flash is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Abbey's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Flash is not content to let Abbey control the position. Flash kicks off Abbey and gets to his feet. Westminister Abbey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Flash fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Abbey manages to avoid it. Abbey throws a left and a right that both miss
and Flash counters with a takedown into side control. Jeff Flash is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flash moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Flash looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Abbey is looking for a sweep. Flash tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Flash has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Flash is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Abbey has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Abbey pushes Flash away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Flash gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Flash controlling from side mount. Flash decides to stand back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Jeff Flash comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Flash winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
