Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rock Hardmeat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Maldonado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maldonado has chosen momma said knock you out as his entrance music. Maldonado has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Vincent Maldonado will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vincent Maldonado!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardmeat closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Maldonado to the mat! Maldonado manages to get full guard.
Maldonado looks gassed!
Hardmeat throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Maldonado works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hardmeat slips nicely into half guard.
Hardmeat perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Hardmeat's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Hardmeat has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Maldonado really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hardmeat. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hardmeat controlling the pace for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hardmeat is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Hardmeat!
