Kasparov has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Akira Maeda could well score a knockout today. Maeda is looking to clinch but Kasparov is avoiding it.
Kasparov looks gassed!
Maeda shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Maeda was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Maeda cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Maeda postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Kasparov badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Maeda around the waist but Maeda pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Maeda is the winner by TKO! Maeda jumps onto the ropes and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
