The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A left and a right from Johnson both land. Nice combination.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Johnson has had enough of the clinch but Taylor keeps him there for the moment.
Come on Johnson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Taylor's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Johnson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Taylor misses with a double jab
and Johnson counters with a right hand to the body.
Taylor thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Johnson if he has to take too many more of those.

Johnson can't control as he wanted to and Taylor manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Johnson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Taylor to stand up.
Johnson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Taylor is fending him off so far but Johnson persists. Nope, Taylor circles away and we're back to standing.

Johnson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Taylor is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Taylor can do anything to dispel that myth.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Johnson stands and steps away. Taylor gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Taylor shoots in for a double leg but Johnson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Tim Taylor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Johnson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
