Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Noah Burn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lazarus Envy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Envy has chosen Converge - Dark Horse as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Burn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lazarus Envy! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Envy fails with a takedown attempt. Burn tries to clinch up but Envy circles away and keeps his distance. Burn pushing out the jab but it's not landing. The fight stays on the outside here - Burn looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Burn fails in his attempt to clinch. Burn gets in close and instigates a clinch. Burn keeps control of Envy as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Burn fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Burn has Envy pressed against the cage, preventing Envy from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Envy is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Envy is trying to force a seperation but Burn has the dominant position. Burn is pressed up against the cage. Envy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Burn down to the mat. Burn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Noah Burn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lazarus Envy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Envy tries a head kick but it misses.
Burn has closed the distance and engaged Envy in a clinch.

Envy has had enough of the clinch but Burn keeps him there for the moment. Envy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Burn avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Burn prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's one minute gone in the round. Envy is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Burn gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Burn has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Envy avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Burn really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Envy wants to break free but Burn has control.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Burn. Burn lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Envy is not content to let Burn control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Burn is looking for a kimura but Envy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Burn to get the leverage. Envy tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Burn manages to move to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Burn wants to finish this one by submission but Envy is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Burn. Envy squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burn controlling from mount. Envy wants to get back to his feet.
Burn goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Envy turns into him and now he's in Burn's guard.
Burn manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Envy manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Burn drops back, looking for a kneebar! Envy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Envy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Envy!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Envy tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Burn gets back to half guard. Burn works his way to full guard. Good work. Envy wanted to stand there but Burn had control of the position. Burn is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Burn is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Envy wants to stand and escape but Burn is having none of it. Burn trying to control the position from guard on top but Envy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Burn slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Burn drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Envy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Burn has Envy in his guard. Burn is breathing heavily. Envy decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Burn, up you get! Envy lands a head kick. Burn smiles back at him and beckons him forward. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Noah Burn dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Burn has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Envy lands a front kick. Burn tries to clinch but Envy is having none of it. Envy shoots in for a takedown but Burn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Envy throws a head kick but Burn moves out of range.
Burn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Envy paws at him with a jab and circles away. Burn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Envy needs to keep his hands up - Burn had a free shot at his head there. Envy closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Envy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Envy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Burn avoids it really well and circles away. Burn gets in close and instigates a clinch. Burn lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Burn lands a body punch. Envy prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Envy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Burn is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Noah Burn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lazarus Envy. Envy is breathing heavily. Envy pulls guard effortlessly. Burn drops back looking for a leg! Envy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Envy manages to kick Burn off! Burn jumps back into Envy's guard. Burn won't allow Envy to get back to his feet. Burn decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Envy, up you get! Envy throws a nice inside leg kick. Burn scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Envy keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Burn. Burn instigates a clinch. Envy has had enough of the clinch but Burn keeps him there for the moment. Burn pulls guard. Envy stopping the sweep attempt from Burn.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Burn controls Envy momentarily but Envy frees himself. Envy trying to stand up but can't free himself from Burn's guard. Burn wants to sweep here but Envy controlling him for the moment. Envy tries to stand but Burn is controlling from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Burn misses with a looping left. Envy throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Burn. Envy lands a head kick!
Burn misses with an uppercut. Burn throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Envy keeps Burn at a distance using the push kick. Envy wants to clinch. Envy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Burn. Burn throws a lazy right hand but Envy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Burn tries to clinch there but Envy circles away.

Burn tries to catch it but that hurt him. Burn is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Burn throws an overhand right that lands on Envy's shoulder, as Envy tries to avoid the shot. Envy throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Noah Burn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Envy lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Burn throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Envy sees it coming and avoids it easily. Envy is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Burn throws a hook but Envy avoids it easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Envy tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Burn counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Burn is looking to clinch but Envy is avoiding it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Noah Burn will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Envy ducks under a wild hook from Burn. Burn tries to close the distance and clinch but Envy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Burn has managed to clinch.
Envy tries to break the clinch but Burn is controlling the position. Burn wants the takedown. Envy is fighting it off but Burn persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Envy's guard against the cage. Burn trying to control the position from guard on top but Envy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Envy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Envy working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Burn. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Noah Burn is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Envy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Burn.
And that's the end of the fight! Noah Burn showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Burn, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
