Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Child!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Whizzer Oz!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oz slips a straight right by Child.
Child moves into the clinch successfully.
Child is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Oz blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Oz is leaning against Child and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Oz wants to break the clinch but can't.
Child breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Oz's corner calls for a 1-2. Oz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Oz leaves Child with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Oz scores with a one two! Child had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Oz throws a hook but Child avoids it easily.
Child tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oz throws a series of punches but Child moves out of range.
Oz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Child.
Oz throws a nice looking combination but Child bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Child fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Child. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Oz closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Oz works Child's body with a nice hook.
Oz fails to land with a series of punches.
Jab, jab by Oz - just one landing.
Child is breathing heavily.
Oz paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Child is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Oz connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Child to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Oz!
