Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Gee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gee's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Can't be touched. Nick Gee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nick Gee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Hayes!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayes throws a right and a left that Gee avoids nicely.
Gee shoots in but Hayes avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hayes looks to land a combination but Gee avoids it well.
Gee tries to clinch but Hayes moves out of range.
Hayes lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Gee shoots in looking for a takedown. Hayes tries to sprawl out of it but Gee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hayes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gee shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Gee. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Hayes counters with a straight right hand.

Gee throws a jab but it's blocked by Hayes.

and Hayes counters with a one-two to the body.

and Hayes counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hayes fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gee looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hayes dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hayes scores with a jab. Gee acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Hayes lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hayes lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hayes.

Hayes lands a hook that stumbles Gee back into the cage. Hayes follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Gee to the canvas! Hayes pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Gee has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
