Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Toni Sopraano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Moltisantos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Christopher Moltisantos!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sopraano tries to clinch but Moltisantos is having none of it.

and Moltisantos counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sopraano is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Moltisantos is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Moltisantos seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Moltisantos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sopraano. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Moltisantos shoots in for a double leg but Sopraano sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Moltisantos shoots in for a takedown but Sopraano shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Sopraano might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
