Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gio Naza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Vote With a Bullet by Corrosion of Conformity. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naza slips under a jab from Savage.
Naza shoots in looking for a takedown. Savage tries to sprawl out of it but Naza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Savage manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Naza tries for a takedown but Savage sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Savage throws a head kick that misses.

Nice sprawl there from Savage as Naza shoots in.
Jackson Savage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gio Naza.
Nice uppercut lands for Savage. That snapped Naza's head back.
Savage misses with a body kick.
Horrible takedown by Naza or perhaps it was just good defense by Savage which made him look bad.
Naza shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Savage is trying to defend but Naza finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Naza is trying to control. Savage wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Naza thows an elbow strike that misses. Savage gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Naza doesn't seem too bothered but Savage quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Naza is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Naza really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
