Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Colbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Rogers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cain Colbert!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers scores with a punch to the head.

Rogers looks to score with a jab to the body but Colbert is just out of range.
No joy there for Colbert, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cain Colbert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rogers drops Colbert with a beautiful combination! Colbert stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rogers is looking for the KO!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rogers stalks Colbert and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Colbert's face. Colbert staggers backwards, shaken.
Colbert scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rogers doesn't seem bothered though.

Colbert shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Colbert showed some decent athleticism there.
Rogers has hold of Colbert's hands but Colbert slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Colbert is nestled in close to Rogers, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Colbert is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Colbert looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rogers makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rogers.
Colbert has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Colbert is squirming around, avoiding Rogers's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rogers is looking to stall here but Colbert recovers full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Colbert connects with a jab.
Rogers misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Colbert.

It looks like Cain Colbert has been cut.
A combination from Rogers does no damage.
Rogers's corner calls for a 1-2. Rogers obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rogers scores with the left hand. Colbert knows he should have avoided that one.
Rogers moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Kyle Rogers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rogers lands with a cross.
Colbert throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Colbert misses with a low kick as Rogers jumps back.
Colbert tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rogers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rogers lands a right hook to the body.
Rogers throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kyle Rogers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rogers displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Colbert.
Rogers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rogers lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Colbert is looking to close the distance but Rogers sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Colbert crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Colbert is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
