Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Holt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nino Cabreros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holt comes to the cage accompanied by All Along the Watchtower - Bear McCreary. Nino Cabreros has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Holt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nino Cabreros! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holt swinging wilding here.
Holt moves away from the strike by Cabreros. Cabreros shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Holt manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Holt trying to strike off his back.
Holt thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Holt wants to sweep but no luck. Holt has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cabreros is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Holt. Cabreros working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Holt gets back to half guard. Cabreros takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Holt taking some punishment here, with Cabreros in his half guard. Holt looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Holt on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cabreros lands a nice short elbow. Cabreros drops an elbow to the side of Holt's head. Holt punching from the bottom.
Holt flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Cabreros seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Cabreros winds up and cracks Holt with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Holt tries to roll over but Cabreros keeps him under control. Holt gets back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Holt is looking to sinch up a triangle. Cabreros throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Holt's body to avoid the submission. Holt has instead reached around Cabreros's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Holt arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). James Holt!
