PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pate Perhana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes into the arena with Indestructible blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Perhana.
Black turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Black finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Black is looking to slow Perhana down with leg kicks.
Black defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Perhana.
Black scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Black throws a good cross that connects.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Perhana misses with a takedown attempt - Black sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Perhana looks gassed!
Black throws a nice outside leg kick.

Black lands a big head kick that sends Perhana tumbling to the mat! Black takes a step backwards and waves Perhana back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Perhana is rocked!

It looks like Pate Perhana has been cut.
Black tries to clinch up.
Black tries to clinch there but Perhana circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Black lands a big head kick that sends Perhana tumbling to the mat! Black takes a step backwards and waves Perhana back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Perhana closes the distance and clinches up with Black, looking for a takedown. Perhana pushes Black against the cage but Black circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Matt Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pate Perhana.

Black lands a big uppercut and Perhana crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Perhana looks OK. Black waves Perhana back to his feet!
Perhana is still on wobbly legs! Can Black finish him?
Black swinging wilding here.
Perhana seems to have recovered his senses.
Black tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Black, right into the meat.
Black lands with a slapping head kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Perhana takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Black moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Black works over Perhana's head and body with a nice combination.

Black lands a brutal head kick. Perhana looks out on his feet and Black throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
