Black comes to the cage accompanied by Jedward - Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rodriguez's choice of entrance music: Stairway to Heaven. Arthur Black could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mario Rodriguez's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arthur Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mario Rodriguez!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Black sprawls well. Black wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rodriguez gets slowly back to his feet.
Rodriguez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rodriguez gets a takedown into half guard.
Black lands a couple of sideways elbows.
Black wants to improve his position but Rodriguez is controlling well.
Rodriguez sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Black defending well though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Black is controlling Rodriguez's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Rodriguez not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Black trying to hold on to Rodriguez's head to control him but Rodriguez postures up.
Black blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rodriguez.
Rodriguez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rodriguez tries a low kick but Black avoids it.
Rodriguez looks for a takedown but Black sprawls well.
Arthur Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mario Rodriguez.
Black gets a takedown into half guard.

Black lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Black avoids the attempt from Rodriguez to control.

Black postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Rodriguez in real trouble here! The ref calls for Rodriguez to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
