The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Peterson tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control.
Johnson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Peterson looking for submissions off his back.
Johnson trying to control the action but Peterson is working from the bottom.
Peterson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Johnson pulls his head out easily.
Peterson manages to get to full guard.
Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Peterson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Johnson lands a couple of digs.

Peterson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Johnson is posturing up here but Peterson has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Johnson tries to roll out but it's too tight and Johnson has to tap! Slick submission there by Peterson!
