Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Meat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and cro copout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). copout comes into a darkened arena with his song building. you throw knee, i go home kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, cro copout! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Meat is defended easily by copout. copout gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. copout looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Meat wants to control from the top but copout keeps moving. Meat throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as copout works some decent striking defense from the bottom. copout utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Meat throwing strikes from guard but copout blocks nicely. Meat is looking to work some ground and pound but copout has wrist control. Meat passes copout's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Meat is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. copout avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Meat. Meat with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. copout tries to get to full guard but Meat has control of the leg. Meat missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Meat thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed copout's head. Meat wants to pass the guard but copout is defending well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Meat shoots in for a takedown but copout shows good takedown defense. Meat scores with a takedown into copout's guard. copout looking to control.
Meat is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! copout is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! copout has escaped and now he's on top! Meat is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. copout trying to control but Meat is working from the bottom. Meat is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Meat had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. copout is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Meat Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take copout's back instead. Even with his hooks in, Meat manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Meat throwing shots but copout is blocking nicely. Meat trying to mount his opponent but copout defends it. Meat throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Meat stalling.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Meat takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. copout regains full guard. Nicely done. Meat postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Meat slips nicely into half guard. Meat seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. copout is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if copout can do anything to dispel that myth. Meat not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. copout won't allow Meat to pass to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
