Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dale Dribble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Average Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dale Dribble has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dale Dribble seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dale Dribble! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Average Joe! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dribble attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Dribble takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Joe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dribble tries to land a body kick and Joe counters with a single leg into guard. Dribble didn't expect that. Dribble is looking to stand up but Joe isn't so interested in that idea. Dribble is looking to stand back up but Joe counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Dribble. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dribble tries to buck Joe off but Joe is having none of it. You can see the frustration on Dribble's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Joe working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Joe decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dribble to his feet. Joe looks to land a combination but Dribble avoids it well. Dribble is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dribble looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Joe is fending him off so far but Dribble persists. Nope, Joe circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. A chopping leg kick lands by Joe. Joe closes the distance and lands a one-two. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Dribble closes this distance looking for a takedown but Joe circles away. Joe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Joe is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dribble has escaped the position, nice work there. Joe working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Joe looks gassed! Joe tries for a kimura but Dribble is defending well. Dribble manages to work his way to half guard, despite Joe's best efforts. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dribble throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Dribble keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Dribble looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dribble is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dribble manages to get to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dribble wants to stand up but Joe is controlling him. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Joe looking to pass the guard. Joe stands up and waves to Dribble to follow him. Dribble could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. A kick lands to the mid section there for Joe. Joe scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Dale Dribble has been cut. A head kick by Dribble misses and Joe counters with a leg kick. Dribble misses with a double jab.
Joe looks for a takedown but Dribble sprawls well. Dale Dribble seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dribble stuffs the takedown attempt from Joe. Joe gets slowly back to his feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Dribble.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joe manages to get back to half guard. Joe manages to get to full guard.
Dribble passes into half guard. Dribble looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Joe tries to roll over but Dribble keeps him under control. Dribble wants to take a breather but Joe is having none of it. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dribble lands a nice short elbow. Joe gets full guard. Joe can't keep his opponent in guard - Dribble advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Dribble working Joe over with strikes. Dribble is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dribble tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Joe looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Joe looking for submissions off his back. Joe misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Dribble wants to control but Joe is keeping him busy. Joe looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nice sprawl there from Dribble as Joe shoots in. Dale Dribble has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Average Joe. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dribble throws a body kick the misses and Joe makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Dribble looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Joe!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Joe throws the left hand but Dribble avoids the punch easily. Dribble is looking to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Average Joe dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dale Dribble's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Dribble fails with a takedown attempt. Dribble shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Joe pinned against the cage. Joe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Joe fails with a takedown attempt. Joe misses with a wild body shot. Joe with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dribble looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dribble lands a two punch combo.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Joe. Dribble is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Joe is controlling him well. Dribble is looking to regain half guard here but Joe keeps moving and retains side control. Check out the look on Joe's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Joe is breathing heavily. Joe looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dribble is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dribble is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Joe asserts his dominance and retains side control. Dribble looking for a sweep but Joe has passed into full mount! Oh no! Dribble wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Joe softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Joe patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Dribble wants to get back to his feet. Joe lands shots to the head and Dribble turtles up! The ref has seen enough and stops the fight! This one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Average Joe!
