Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Lawsoner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asean Cotter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cotter has chosen We Taking Over as his entrance music. Lawsoner is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robbie Lawsoner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Asean Cotter!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cotter looks to land a left hand but Lawsoner moved out of range nicely.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Lawsoner tries to clinch but Cotter is having none of it.
Cotter gets the takedown into side control.
Lawsoner is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Cotter is working Lawsoner over with some ground and pound from side control.
Cotter decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lawsoner to his feet.
Cotter fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cotter shoots in and drives through. Lawsoner sprawls well.
Lawsoner steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cotter.
Cotter dives in and grabs Lawsoner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lawsoner pushes down on Cotter's head and hops out.
Cotter closes the distance and pushes Lawsoner back into the cage.
Cotter manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lawsoner slips a straight right by Cotter.
Lawsoner could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lawsoner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cotter tries to avoid it but Lawsoner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cotter to the ground. Cotter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lawsoner is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cotter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Cotter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Lawsoner is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Cotter lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Lawsoner is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Cotter is tapping! Great win for Lawsoner!
